Get Started

About Us

eTwinning is a community of teachers and school staff hosted in a secure space. Participants can take part in many activities such as projects with schools and classrooms across Europe and beyond; discussions with colleagues and the development of professional networking and a variety of professional development opportunities.
The involvement of Palestinian schools in the eTwinning community emphasises the positive impact of educational initiatives in bridging gaps and promoting understanding between people.
As the eTwinning NSO implementer, Erasmus+ National Office in Palestine (NEOP) will support the Ministry of Education to develop the country's eTwinning strategy, select schools from a diverse pool of schools, train teachers, and implement eTwinning projects in 50 schools in this pilot phase.
The National Erasmus+ Office will assist Palestinian schools during the process of registration, partner finding and project activity, promote the use of eTwinning, deliver prizes and quality labels and organise professional development activities for teachers.

Our main priorities will be to support the Palestinian schools through the European School Education Platform under the Erasmus+ program to:

  • Build pedagogical projects with schools in Europe and the region
  • Promote innovative collaboration methods and transfer of good educational practices
  • Reinforce language learning and intercultural dialogue/competence
  • Contribute to the professional development of teachers through their active participation in collaborative projects with their peers in other countries
  • Build communities of practice and specific training activities focused specifically on pedagogical and collaborative use of ICT
  • Work jointly on key priority areas, which include digital learning, citizenship and values; promotion of democracy, rule of law, respect for human rights, social cohesion in line with the thematic focus for the Erasmus+ program.
